JAN. 11, 2020 - ZCMC Infrastructure Update

BUENAS DIAS, Assalamu Alaykum!

To serve you better, ZCMC conducted the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of two (2) COVID ISOLATION BUILDINGS with facilities ideal for the effective isolation of patients with COVID-19 and possible emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

-Building 1 will have a 53-bed capacity for patients with mild to moderate illness.

-Building 2 will hold the Molecular Laboratory and a total of 35 beds for patients with severe illness.

The groundbreaking ceremony commenced with blessings from Fr. Mars Villagracia, Rev. Arturo Veladiez and Sheikh Hayder Buddin. Dr. Afdal Kunting, the new Medical Center Chief, in his message expressed the urgency of the construction of the isolation buildings as ZCMC is dealing with lives and cannot afford to delay to serve the needs of its contituents.
