The management of ZCMC has initiated a free shuttle service for employees. This is to address concerns about the limited parking space for employees due to the ongoing construction to expand the facilities of the hospital.
To ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic inside the hospital compound, the following procedres will be implemented:
From 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Gate 2 (back gate) will be used as ENTRANCE and Gate 1 (front gate) as EXIT for ALL VEHICLES except ambulance and Emergency Motor Vehicles which will use the Gate 1 (front gate) at any time.
From 6:01 pm to 6:59 am, Gate 2 will be closed and all vehicles will pass through Gate 1 for Entrance and Exit.
Since Electrical Installation and works in Tower 1 are ongoing, all vehicles are not allowed by the said road. Vehicles entering Gate 1 are only allowed upto road adjacent to Cancer Center. While vehicles entering Gate 2 are only allowed up to road adjacent to TZU CHI Eye Center.

ZCMC COVID POSITIVE PATIENTS REMAIN LESS THAN 100, STILL SLOWLY DECLINING
87% OF THE CONFIRMED POSITIVE IS "NOT" VACCINATED.
7 DEATH, HIGHEST IN A WEEK
A total of 110 patients is admitted in the COVID wards and ER. Of these, 89 are confirmed POSITIVE. Among the confirmed positive, five (5) patients are still in critical condition but a decrease to 31% from 43% is noted among patients with severe symptoms. There are still 9 intubated patients and 15 on high flow oxygen.
We would like to inform the Public that currently ZCMC has shortage of oxygen. We are admitting about thirty (30) COVID-19 positive patients every day. Responding to this, ZCMC opened additional wards to accommodate the surge of patients. About a month ago, ZCMC has already prepared for possible oxygen shortage and has renewed contract for 12 000 tanks with an outsourced oxygen supplier within the city. However, the demand has increased due to the current surge of COVID-19 cases and more patients admitted needing high flow oxygen. The contracted supplier will have to refill from another oxygen plant in Cebu City and deliver to ZCMC in staggered basis of 100 tanks with a turnaround time of 1 week. ZCMC has shouldered all expenses for the purchase of oxygen.
We appeal to the Public to strictly observe the minimum health protocols and avoid gathering or going to crowded places. As the only Level 3 Government hospital with specialty care services, ZCMC is now overwhelmed. The continuous increase in COVID-19 patients will further overwhelm the health workers and possibly compromise the services we render.
We need the Public's urgent cooperation to help us curb this surge. - Oct. 5, 2021
