Medical Center Chief Dr. Afdal B. Kunting together with Dr. Aeesha Y. Pingli, Chief of Medical Professional Services and other ExeCom members of the hospital spearheaded the event. Dr. Kunting expressed his thanks to the Contractors and staff of the Engineering Facility Management for the hard work and completion of the project.

 

He further stated that it is also the priority of ZCMC to ensure that its healthcare workers are well taken cared of especially during their tour of duties. Sheikh Hayder Buddin, Rev. Fr. Jovel Palermo and Rev. Arturo A. Veladiez officiated the blessing of the 70-bed dormitory.

 

The Dormitory will be a temporary home for healthcare workers of ZCMC who go on perpetual duties. The rooms are equipped with a split-type air conditioner, 4-6 bunk beds, a television and a closet. There are separate rooms for the male and female occupants as well as comfort rooms and shower rooms.

 

ZCMC will continue to provide a high standard of care for the patients through employees' satisfaction. (PACCU)
